Let It Go, My Child

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;

10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;

14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;

16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.

17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-

18 with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.

21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
Psalm 103:8-21
NIV

I'm glad that we're never "one mistake away from His leaving." He said, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you." (Ahhhh.) Thanks for sharing. Happy Spiritual Sunday.

Sorry I'm late getting by for my Sunday devotional. So glad it was still available. It was beautiful and very thought provoking.

I really hope things are calming down a bit for you. Sometimes life seems to bring one adjustment right after the other.

Even if your VD gift to your GD is late, it will be appreciated for certain. The feelings that prompted the gift are the same no matter when the gift is received.

Hi Glenda,
Yes, life is calmer thank goodness. I missed my opportunity to mail my gift on Saturday - our post office closes early apparently. It will be in the mail this week though. A gift from gramma is always good - she is in need of so much - every little bit helps her mama
Have a great day!

Kymber, this is just beautiful and a good reminder to try to be more like our Heavenly Father! Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the you-tube video, too. :-)

Thanks for dropping by yesterday and leaving a great comment. I agree completely. Our Father in heaven does love us, watch over us and care about everything that is happening in our lives. Our children our now adults and they both live about five minutes from us. When they were away at college and then after graduation, they lived about six hours away. When they would come for a visit at Christmas, Easter, etc. and then leave, it took us days to "get over" it.

What a wonderful blog you have!
I wanted to thank you for such sweet words you left on my post yesterday! It's nice to "meet" someone else who knows about those "fitting in" issues that a step-parent has. Your visit really did mean a lot to me!
Thank you again! Laura
