Advance Into The New Year On Bended Knee

Advance into the new year on your knees. Faith does not concern itself with the entire journey. One step is enough. That first step is all that is needed. Breathe a prayer for courage to fill your legs as well as your heart as you face the unknown, the unexpected. What matters that you know not your destination? Put your hand in the hand of God. He gives the calmness and serenity of heart and soul. As He endures, you too, can endure the climb over sharp rocks and crags. Climb with Him to the end of the year - yea, even to the end of life's trail. "The peak that is nearest the storm cloud is nearer the stars of light." He gives the courage for which you pray to rise above the valley. Heed the Master's voice and press on bravely - on to the fulfillment of your task. You have a whole NEW year to scale!

Thank you Kymber for those wonderful words of encouragement. It has been a very difficult year. I can only pray that 2010 will be easier. I pray for you as you embark into the new year and your new career.

I hope school is going well for you. I only have 1 more class. I start my externship next month. The time has really gone fast.

I'm just picturing the Lord holding me up and His hold prevents me from falling as I hit the bumps in my life's journey. Humbleness...That's all it comes down to. Happy New Year sister and God bless you abundantly. Great to hear from you and praying all is well with your studies. Hang in there...

Hi Kymber,
Such a beautiful post, The scripture you shared especially Habakkuk3;19 is one I committed to memory a long time ago, and when I am weak I draw strength on it. Thank you for sharing today.

Dear Kymber,
This is such a beautiful quote. I must really get myself a copy of this famous devotional.

How meaningful the words are, and just so timely.

I glad I visited here today. Just wanted to wish you all the best for the coming year.

T"he peak that is nearest the storm cloud is nearer the stars of light." Yes, I agree with this.

It is so true that none of us know what the year will bring, but we can rest assured that whatever we face, we don't have to face alone. Whatever courage is required, will be supplied.

I hope your holidays were blessed with family and fun.
