Cry Out To Jesus

"Lord, keep me still,
Though stormy waves may blow
And waves my little bark may overflow,
Or even if in darkness I must go;
Lord, keep me still.

The waves are in Thy hand,
The roughest seas subside at Thy command.
Steer Thou my bark in safety to the land
And keep me still,
Keep me still."
Author Unknown, quoted in Al Bryant, Sourcebook of Poetry

"Prayer is surrender - surrender to the will of God and cooperation with that will. If I throw out a boat hook from a boat and catch hold of the shore and pull, do I pull the shore to me, or do I pull myself to the shore? Prayer is not pulling God to my will, but the aligning of my will to the will of God."
E. Stanley Jones, A Song of Ascents

When the waves of life crash down - do not be afraid to Cry out to Jesus - He will always be there to calm the storms inside of you!

8 The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Deuteronomy 31:8

Blessings to you,
Kymber

I love those praying hands. I have a sculpture of them on my desk. I also love the video and music. I have it saved and listen to it occasionally. I guess I haven't shared it with my wife. I see she just made a comment that it might become her favorite. LOL

Prayer is so powerful, and it moved mountains. I just saw one moved this week with a friend's husband who faced death. He made a miraculously recovery. PTL! :-)

XO,

Sheila :-)
